Close ProtectionHistorically our assignments have been provided for corporate and private clients world wide. This requires varying levels of qualifications and specific skill sets with local and regional experience to be able to deliver required services.
Close Protection in the UK Working in the Private Security sector in the UK is governed by the Private Security Industry Act of 2001. This requires minimal training and minimal criminality checks for individuals to obtain a close protection license that enable an individual to work within the UK, Northern Ireland and any territories governed by the UK. The Security Industry Authority was founded to ensure that these processes were implemented and that the quality of training and standing of the industry were continually improved. With current re-licensing training and qualification requirements reduced, the standard time frame for learning hours has been exploited to an unrealistic level that does not enable learning or understanding and most importantly, does not practice and test students suitability or capability of operating in the sector. The basic disclosures are still only being conducted and no sexual offenders registers are checked. This still leaves the verification of quality, ability and trustworthiness of individuals currently operating in this sector to be checked by individual organizations. We are very particular about who we choose to have representing our organization. The following checks are conducted by us in addition to you having a close protection licence.
Close Protection outside the UK We assign agents from the UK to operate around the globe. We also use local agents. The level of training and qualifications required around the world to work providing close protection services varies greatly from country to country. Only suitable agents are chosen to work outside of the UK and the following factors considered when selecting candidates:
